So, a little about me. I was born in St.Maarten and came to the United States at the age of 8. I have been living in Florida since my arrival to the United States and have not left that state except for short trips during the 14+ years that I have been here. I live with my parents and three brothers and recently graduated from a state college with my Associate in Arts degree. I am currently in limbo as far as schooling goes, but the ultimate destination is midwifery school. My journey to my goals and dreams has been steady and slow, but I know that I will get there. I have finally decided to just let things go and live in the moment as my journey continues.
I will be using this blog space to post my art work, which are mainly sketches of people and dress designs. I also have really nice doodles that I would love to share with the world. I figure the more I share, the more art I will create :) I will also be using this space to share my literature, which is mainly poetry. I will only share poems on here that have either already been shared or published, or poems that I really would like to receive feedback on. I also write short stories. My goal is to have written at least one thing from each major literary genre and share my writing with the role. My writing is my escape. It is also one of the tools that I use to effectively communicate with others. I tend to have a clearer head when I write as opposed to when I speak.
In addition to my work, I will be documenting events and other relevant stories that shed light on my vision for myself and this world. My vision for this world is one of abundance, unity, love, peace, and acceptance. My vision for myself is one of peace, freedom, and love.
